Excerpt from Proceedings of the Grand Lodge of Adoptive Masonry of the State of Michigan: For the Year 1867
In pursuance of previous call, a convention of Eastern Star Lodges met at 2 o'clock P. M., and, upon motion of J. W. Finch, Bro. W. L. Wood of Bronson, was appointed temporary chairman, and, O. M. Eddy, of Adrian, Secretary pro tern, of the Convention.
On motion of Bro. Tatem, a committee of six was appointed to examine Credentials, consisting of Bros. Tatem, of Adrian, Haight, of Manchester, Fuller, of Bronson, and Sisters Lowe, of Hudson, Gillespie, of Jackson, and Smith, of Palmyra.
