Publisher's Synopsis
A collection of 32 radio stories which are prize-winners from eight years of the annual RTE Francis MacManus Short Story Competition, up to and including 1993. The collection is being published in Mercier's jubilee year to commemorate the friendship between John M. Feehan - the founder of the Mercier Press - and Francis MacManus, writer and broadcaster, many of whose books were published by Mercier. It is also a celebration of the longstanding relationship between Mercier and RTE.
