Publisher's Synopsis
A youthful Errol Flynn stars in this classic adaptation of Mark Twain's novel. In sixteenth century England, Tudor prince Edward (Bobby Mauch) switches places with beggar boy Tom Canty (Billy Mauch), who could almost be his twin. The lark backfires for Edward when his claim to the throne is ridiculed and he is cast out into the streets. He finds a protector in the form of adventurer Miles Hendon (Flynn), whose initial amusement at Edward's claims turns to respect as he realises his true nobility.
