Prickly Tales follows the life of a young but very inquisitive hedgehog who wants to see the world outside his home. This leads him into all kinds of trouble, but luckily for Henry – as the children call him – there is always help at hand, either from his sisters’ other animals or humans. These stories have been written to educate as well as amuse children aged from 4-8, and prevent young and older hedgehogs becoming the victim of human carelessness. Author Mary is inspired by different authors; Joe Simpson and Derek Longden in the autobiographical genre, and Katherine Stockett and Maeve Binchy for their works of fiction. The book has been beautifuly illustrated.
