The judges on matched or single carriage horses, or mares, will consider the age, form, size, color, strength, walk, style, action; power of endurance, together with a fair rate of speed, as points to be noted in making their decision - super ior speed not being the test of merit in this class. In pairs of matched carriage horses, or mares, close matching in action will take precedence over close matching in color.
