Publisher's Synopsis
T he Purpose of "Pouring into the Lives of Women."- This book is designed to celebrate the best of women. In our world, in all the hustle and bustle I see where it is easy to lose focus on what matters most. Often times, we as women forget to take a moment, stop for a while, be on go-slow and smell the roses. Women are caught up with being what others say we are. We are caught up with fitting in, we are caught up with the status quo, we are caught up with taking care of others, we are caught up in proving that we are equal to our male counterparts, we are caught up with having the perfect body, we are caught up with the right look, we are caught up with managing through hardship, we are caught up with keeping up appearances and at times, we are caught up with everything else except being in the moment, taking the time to exhale and enjoying the things we worked so hard to have and become.
This book is intended to get the woman to PAUSE for a moment and celebrate and be celebrated. We pour into the lives of women by
carefully noting how they have been impactful to the world of women and others, not excluding men and children. We speak, prophesy, confirm, declare, pray, and provide physical and spiritual support in helping women to achieve excellence in their current situations and to level up in their thinking as they prepare for the next level, realm or dimension. I strongly see a huge opportunity where we as women can come together and support each other, as we thrive to become all we were created to be. There is so much to be achieved when we collaborate our ideas, thoughts, gifts, and resources. The movement is to create the world that we envision by empowering others to see the greater good in humanity and in oneself. We are capable of withstanding hardships through our FAITH.
Women are natural incubators and life grows to full maturity within a woman. That is the start. A world where we crown women and glorify their contributions, is a world where the continuity of life expands. Women have been integral to our society from the beginning of time. They have worked their way to be mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Messiah in times where they were not valued and found noteworthy. Ruth, Rahab, Tamar, Bathsheba, Esther, Deborah, and Mary, are women who have left an indelible impression in the hearts of history. We are certainly, tapping into 'the greater things we will do", words spoken by Jesus Christ in the book of John 14:12. In a perfect society, we would all be on the same page to pour into the lives of women. Unfortunately, we live in an imperfect world where we get distracted by our own inadequacies and internalized insecurities which does not foster a culture of extolling women. Therefore, those of us who are created to make a change will champion this movement and begin to speak into the lives of women, as they are the incubators, the womb, the soil, to create, nurture and foster life, growth and change. When
we pour into women, all sectors of life are affected because of who the women are within the world around them.
The very essence of this book is to capture that the best and worst of us is not defined by our failures, setbacks, worst moments or shortcomings. Rather, we are celebrated for the many ways we prevail, the many ways we overcome, and the many ways we defeat that which was set out to defeat us. It is my hope to teach my community the steps to make others encounter the caring heart of God through us. "It is often said that people will forever remember how you make them feel", (Maya Angelou). It is important to reinforce within our women, that they are doing a great job, that they matter completely, and they are being seen and heard. It is even more important to help women discover all the goodness packaged within them.
