Publisher's Synopsis
THE PROPORTIONALITY MANIFESTO This Proportionalist Manifesto, prepared by a group of Latin American thinkers headed by the Brazilian sociologist, Dr. W. Gregori represents a qualitative leap in thinking to overcome the ineffective social change proposals to date. The quest is for fixing and balancing the disproportionality in the world by its political, economic and religious power elites, which have been based on a unidimensional (monadic) worldview. The Proportionalist Manifesto starts from the triadic principle of energy established by Quantum Physics, and the systemic triadic interrelation of all elements of the planet, topped by a triadic human social and cultural organization. As the moral-ethical basis of all social construction - of production, distribution and access to goods - it introduces and applies the natural and mathematical golden ratio of proportionality throughout the planetary ecosystem. Over time, humanity has tried various codes, declarations, treaties and manifestos to regulate the boundless ambition of the tri-officialism - high political, economic and religious authorities - with little success. The critical and urgent situation of the global ecosystem no longer can afford uncontested establishment of regulations by one of these three supreme powers (state/economy/church), to do what it wants. International financial corporate economic power has made political and religious power its accomplices. It is necessary to put a brake on all three powers, and to establish a minimum floor for "those below", and a maximum ceiling for "those above". The proportionalist metrics would instill co-responsibility for the survival of everything: planet, ecosystem, reason, science and humanity kindness: a future for all life. For such purpose, the Proportionalist Manifesto displays its four platforms: In Platform 1, it deals with the righteous cry for redistribution and proportional access to knowledge, justice and material goods. In Platform 2, it deals with the collective and emancipatory construction of citizen identities explicitly in 8 spheres of life, at scale, from its origin in matter-energy, continuing into the biological world, in mental development, in the solidary and proportionalist construction of survival and coexistence, in the exercise of direct democracy, until we become co-creators and not blind adherents of the three cultures - cognitive, material and artistic/spiritual - with the prospect of happiness in this world and not only as a promise in the afterlife. In Platform 3, launches urgent specific action proposals in the 14 subsystems or sectors of social systems (societies) replacing the old socioeconomic categories of Adam Smith. In Platform 4, it dares to propose a new model of global organization - UPLAT - United Planet, as an alternative to the ineffective and pretend "United" Nations. It is worthwhile reading, debating, and adopting this liberating proposal in at least 3 of the languages of its proponents: English, Spanish, Portuguese. SEE THE MANIFESTO IN AMAZON!
