With the other data provided here, these estimates of future population and economic developments form the framework for the long-range plan.
For the most part the statistical material used in this report has been taken from published and unpublished reports of the U. S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census. The census data has been rearranged and in many instances integrated with other material for better understanding in this presentation. Other information used in this study has been collected from newspapers, interviews, books, reports.
