Maynard, who was born and raised in Michigan, spent part of his adulthood in Florida for inspiration to follow his dream of being an artist and a writer. He returned home to aThe Great Lakes Statea after realizing his creativity stemmed from his upbringing in and around the small towns of Northern Michigan. Thanks to his friends and family, he decided to put all his works in print so he could share his poetry with the world in hopes that it will inspire others like him to fulfill their dreams.
