About the Book My purpose is to pay tribute to those heroic individuals who have contributed to the world. I hope to honor them as a testimonial of their contribution. I find them in my heart and hope others may do the same. We must all contribute, either as artist, or observer by: experiencing our soul through understanding our purpose; expanding our knowledge of our gifts; and by being aware of the historical stepping-stones of humanity throughout the ages. Without these contributions, of which we must continually remind ourselves, the past, present, and future would be lost in the thoughts of the here and now. About the Author/Illustrator The idea of viewing the world from another person's perspective is an inspiring notion that brings clarity to her artistic manifestations. The organic simplicity to life vs. the urban complexity of city living serves as a starting point for her to manifest her vision, which then takes on a life of its own. Her writing, currently in the form of poetry, but not exclusively, is character driven. She attempts to see the positive in every situation. She uses Iambic Pentameter and writes in her own particular style. Teresa Lakier has received a Bachelors of Art and has written and illustrated "Poetry & Portrait: An Anthology: Part I and Part II, and illustrated "Beyond the Easy Answer, Second Edition: Discovering New Perspectives Through Communication, Games, Stories and Dreams." She intends to enlighten and transfix those who will listen.
