Publisher's Synopsis

As in "Poems 1", much of the work is about the people and places from my youth while others are just visions from my subconscious. The following are excerpts. Poems "Through The Stained Glass" "The sun barricaded by grey skies cold zephyr, Barrels occupied by blazing fires and amber. Slipping beneath the covers to close my eyes, To escape the nightmare of muffled cries." "The Knife" "Hair falling to the floor brought tears to my eyes, The insults cascaded with each disguise. The scalpel has no mind of its own as it cuts away, Nothing left but consciousness and the soul to pray." "Directions of Thought" "Tossing and turning in a cluttered mind, A relentless bombardment, Of ceaseless meanderings, To which one cannot leave behind." Short Story "A Movie Theater" "It was three o'clock in the morning when I began searching for the dropped coins that became hidden beneath the seats of the darkened auditorium. It wasn't long before the coins began to appear. First, the nickels, then the dimes, and finally the quarters appeared everywhere. My pockets began to bulge with coins. Then, the half dollars began to appear as I got closer to the walls. I couldn't believe it. Suddenly, Henry Clay walked up behind me and joined in the search. But he found nothing but popcorn and empty candy wrappers. Then he disappeared and once again, I found myself all alone. But, the coins continued to appear seemingly out of nowhere."
