Danny Francis was born in 1948 in Macon, Georgia. He left at age 19 to go to war, turning 21 in the combat zone of Viet Nam. He was molded by many cultures including the people of Japan, the Philippines, Viet Nam, Korea and Mexico. He was also influenced by the American states he lived and worked in like Georgia and South Carolina in the south, Kentucky and Michigan to the north, Texas, Arkansas and California to the west. He saw a lot of things and wishes he could forget a lot of what he experienced.
