Everybody has secrets. I should know, I grew up in a small expat community spying on my neighbours. Had we lived in England, they might have nicknamed me 'Fly' like a fly on the wall, but here in France, I am known as Mouse - quiet, and observant.
I am an adult now, and although the nickname remains, I no longer stalk villagers. They can keep their secrets; I have found something far more valuable: my one true love. Love is great at changing a soul, but so is hate, and these opposing feelings have been the only constant in my life; I will forever love one neighbour and forever hate another. But they too have their secrets, as they deceive those around them, including the ones who love them the most. And at the risk of losing everything, I must kill one of them and finally put all the dark village secrets to rest...
