This assessment and review pack is designed to assess children's learning at the end of each half term. The activities provided are linked directly to the Key Learning Objectives outlined in the Framework for Teaching Mathematics and the new NNS guidelines for assessment and review lessons. They are based on the principle that 'maths activities should be imaginative and enjoyable' (Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage, 1999) and incorporate a lively mix of activities.
