People who eat a plant-based diet have significantly lower rates of obesity; in fact, the plant-based miracle diet is the single most effective way of losing weight and keeping it off. As previously mentioned, obesity is linked to many health problems, including heart and cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and high levels of stress. Hardened arterial walls begin to soften, causing blood pressure to lower and thereby reducing the risk of stroke and other heart diseases. Without trans fats and bad cholesterol, arterial blockages are reduced and even eliminated, allowing for blood to flow freely throughout the body.
In summary, the benefits of the plant-based diet simply cannot be overstated. One of its most immediate effects is that high levels of blood sugar and high blood pressure begin to drop and reach safe, stable levels. In addition, it allows the body to heal itself so that other diseases and health problems, such as high cholesterol, obesity, and autoimmune diseases, are able to resolve themselves.
