Publisher's Synopsis
One of the local boys has arrived home telling of a frightening woman who attacked him in the local forest, throwing balls of fire. From his description Nan thinks she knows who it might be and her moko can see it frightens her. Understandably they are not eager to go with her when she says she must go to the forest to find this woman.
