The Pollyanna Sunday School Class of the Quitaque Methodist Church was organized in 1916 with the present teacher, Mrs. A. L. Patterson as teacher and ten pupils. The fourteen years of this class history present an interesting re velation. No other class in our Sunday Sch-001 has continued through this period with the honor of retaining the same teacher and class spirit as this class.
Out from this class have gone worthy representatives of the class spirit to take their place in lives of activities. Among them is H. M. Bakei, principal of the Childress high school, Quah Rumph student of medicine at Galveston? -j. 0. Baker Judge 0. R. Tipps, present County. Judge of Briscoe County, and Louis Stockton, public school teachers, and others.
Mrs. Patterson is recognized as one of the best teachers in our school. In addition to this the class can boast of a teacher who'is agreeable, friendly, tactful and thoroughly Christian. The other officers of the class are Paul Hamilton, president; Miss Lizzie Shoemaker, Secretary.
