This is a collection of light-hearted pieces of music written in a popular style, which start by using three notes and then progress to more sophisticated traditional jazz and Latin American style pieces.;The pieces can be played in a variety of ways - as solo recorder pieces with piano accompaniment, for four-part recorder ensemble, small instrument ensemble and classroom orchestra.;The pieces are designed to gradually increase the player's range and technique and contain the descant recorder parts, and in most cases, parts for a full recorder ensemble.;There is an accompanying teacher's text available.;This is a Cambridge University Press publication from July, 1995.
