A tornado hits Kansas and sweeps away your house, taking you and your dog Toto to the Land of Oz. The land is filled with witches-both good and evil-strange creatures, talking scarecrows, and one very powerful Wizard. You set out to find this Wizard to see if he can help you get back to Kansas.
