Publisher's Synopsis
While apprenticing under the legendary Spear Maiden of Endala, Castor Vallas, a young nobleman from the country of Odessa makes new friends and enemies as he takes a break from his tedious responsibilities back home to learn the ways of the warrior. During his apprenticeship, Castor meets the Phantom Goddess of life and death in the realm of the unliving, confronts a murdering psychopath, and is sent on a quest from a banished princess to reclaim her throne. With a few friends to watch his back, Castor travels across the country, through treacherous caves and deep forests to challenge the Queen's right to the throne of Maecha.
