Publisher's Synopsis
In the last sermon he ever preached, Jamie Buckingham said, ""If I fold my tent now and quit, then the pain I've already experienced and the suffering I've already walked through are for nothing. All the things I've learned throughout this entire ordeal (his battle with cancer) will have been wasted, and the future blessings God has promised for my children and my grandchildren and many others around me will be gone" He went on to say, "We can't afford to stop. We simply can't afford to quit. We must finish the work the Lord has given us, so we can be complete...All you have to do is endure your situation. Persevere. And when God knows you've reached your limit, He will step forward with His faithfulness and bring you through." Jamie Buckingham died in 1992 at the age of 59, after a near 2-year-long battle with cancer. Unbeknownst to him, this was to be the last sermon he preached at his beloved church in Melbourne, Florida, before being taken to his eternal rest with the Lord. This booklet is taken from that sermon. His words of wisdom still speak today to any situation you or I may be experiencing that requires perseverance and God's faithfulness.
