Periods of Blue is a collection and correlation of poems written by E.J. Heinz from the period of 1999-2010. E.J. is a poet who is publishing his work and lives in central Illinois. He grew up the oldest of five in a small town outside of Peoria, IL. His style presents to position the past and present as such to bring about an understanding and sense of how a person lives, feels, and experiences feelings and emotion. Blue is a book that focuses on the highs and lows in life along with the occasional blue feeling from time to time.
