Accepted as novitiates at the Grand Temple, Rescuer and Abettor spend 3 years learning about the Creator and the magic. Upon the completion of their training they again meet up with Peregrine and must use their newly developed powers and skills to protect themselves and to decide once again whom to trust: Peregrine or Abiel. On the precipice of a great battle between Peregrine's forces and Abiel's, Rescuer and Abettor must decide if and how they will participate. Whom will they champion?
