Publisher's Synopsis
In June of 1863, Robert E. Lee would reconfigure his army and move north. The Union army, refortified by new draftees and new commanders, would observe and follow. The armies would feint and surge, cross and re-cross the Rappahannock, re-enter the Wilderness, and finally meet face to face in an epic three-day battle at Gettysburg.
