The former may desire to carry away with them some mementos of scenes which have be come pleasantly associated with their best thoughts and aspirations and the latter - an ever-increasing multitude - will wish to obtain a clear impression of a place now become famous, and of a scheme for popular improvement which marks a distinct and important phase of educational progress.
The articles upon the several departments were written by persons who have been prominently connected with this move ment, and although brief, when taken together present a comprehensive view of this unique enterprise.
