Lizzy Daniels has a lot to worry about in the relationship department. None of her boyfriends can stick around during her time of need. Needless to say, she's had disappointment when it comes to men. By her own choosing after the death of her grandmother, she decides to return to Lincolnton, Georgia, home of Peach River Acres, the farm where she grew up. In the process of trying to remember how to run a farm, she meets up with a good family friend, Cole Ryan, and his new bride, Cassandra. Cassandra has a son, Dean Hartman, an Iraqi war veteran looking for work. Lizzy is excited to have Dean onboard as her newest farm hand but there are some things she needs to know about him first. Dean suffers from PTSD and wants to seek help but doesn't know where to turn. On top of worrying about her farm and the farm hand she's falling head over heels in love with, there's a problem. Cole's adoptive son, Evan Ryan, wants Peach River Acres and will stop at nothing to get it and he tries all kinds of tactics from fear to stealing to get his wish. Will Lizzy be able to save her legacy or will she give in to the demands of the man she wants to forget about for the rest of her life?
