Bharathidasan was the first revolutionary poet in Tamil. He has expressed revolutionary and novel ideas for the welfare of mankind and society. He dedicated his poetical works for propagating socialism and justice. He is a rationalist Bharathidasan lived for popularizing his principles. His poetry exhibits principles namely Truth and Justice based on intelligence. 'Bharathidasan has expressed his love for simplicity, modernity, and clarity while writing poems. He feels that beauty of the poem should be expressed through purity and selected simple poetic language. As Shelley's style, Bharathidasan's style also is noted for its speed. 'It has the speed of fast-running flood and violent movement of a storm. He uses easy and simple words as common people use in their day to day life. But he attaches attractive speed and efficiency with those words. Emotionalism is an inborn nature to him. But he never loses his rationality in his expressions. Bharathidasan handles this form while depicting the emotion of his characters in a remarkable way. The minimum limit for this form is three lines. There is no limitation for maximum lines. In each line, there will be four feet. There are four types of Aaciriyappaa namely Nericai Aaciriyappaa. Inaikural Aaciriyappaa. Nilaimandila Aaciriyappaa and Adimarimandila Aaciriyappaa. Bharathidasan uses mostly Nericai Aaciriyappaa in his poems. Along with the general characteristics, this form is differentiated by the penultimate line to the concluding line which will have only three feet. The poem 'Irundaa Veedu' is written with 781 lines making use of this form. Bharathidasan's love for music can be seen in his lyrics. Natural Monai and Etukai in Bharathidasan's poetry are noteworthy. 'Kudumba vilakku' another popular creation of Bharathidasan illustrates the excellence of Bharathidasan since it reveals the use of very many stylistic and linguistic strategies in it. The rhyme - scheme, simile, metaphor etc., used in it add the aesthetic sensibility to the poem. Bharathidasan wants to create a world of equality, fraternity, and liberty. He portrays different aspects of nature's beauty in 'Azhagin Sirippu'.
