Paul the Peddler the novel tells the story of the hero, Paul Hoffman, the fourteen-year-old entrepreneur who sells "prize packages." A fairly basic gambling game, it sells envelopes containing candy or money; although the odds are practically low, but the price to play is cheap and it plays its role well.
