Publisher's Synopsis
Written as a gift for her father on her wedding day, this book was the final poem in "Common Threads." The poem speaks of a father's love and a daughter's admiration. The title originated from an interview the author had after a softball game in her youth. At age ten and the pitcher for her team, her dad (also her coach) kept reminding her to have patience throughout the game, so much in fact, that the interviewer actually thought her name was Patience.
