Party of One is a memoir about getting through loss, discovering that you are stronger than you want to be, and being okay as a "party of one."

It is intended for those who have lost their partner and are suddenly alone. This is your guide to help you find courage. It is a reminder to be kind to yourself. And patient with yourself, as you walk through each day, and learn how to be on your own.

Author Sheila Kamuda shares her journey after the death of her beloved partner. "And I was left with a great big hole in my heart. A great big emptiness in my life. A realization that I was lost. Could I even find myself again? Would I want to? I was now a party of one. Forced to go it alone."

She doesn't know how she will have the courage but moment by moment, she gets through each day. In recounting her journey, Sheila has created a guide for others who are lost in their grief and are now on their own.
