Publisher's Synopsis
The Parables of the Tares and Mustard are revelations by Jesus on the spiritual hostility against the survival of the kingdom of God. This time, the battlefield is not in the soil of the hearts of men; but in the soils of nations.
In the first parable, we saw and understood the mystery of inhibition. In the second we are made to understand the mystery of imitation.
It is a fact that as the kingdom of God progresses, Satan is going to try to hinder its growth not by affecting the listeners but by influencing the preachers. He is going to bring into the Bible colleges and pulpits, men and women of queer character who look like Christians, and talk like them but are inwardly lacking in the ability to bear its fruits.
The intention of the Evil One is that as these his people intermingle, with the genuine ministers of the gospel, they will negatively impact them such that they will find themselves doing things which are not in conformity to their upbringing.
These mysteries and more are revealed in the parables of the sowings (tares) and swelling (mustard)!
