When ex-lawman Jack Nelson drifted into the Texas Panhandle valley, little did he realize that he was about to be embroiled in a battle between unscrupulous rancher Willard Duff of the Box D and the six settlers whose homesteads lined the river bank. Duff was determined to take over the whole of the land in the valley for his range, even if it meant resorting to murder, so he enlisted the help of Quincy Daley's outlaw gang. With the odds so heavily stacked against them would Jack and the homesteaders stand a chance in hell of thwarting the rancher's plans?
