Publisher's Synopsis
PCMCIA cards are the credit-card sized modem, memory, and network cards which are used in notebook computers, and which are increasingly common in desktop systems. PCMCIA device drivers are very different from traditional drivers, and the 1995 expanded specification (3.0) has made PCMCIA development even more complex. This work aims to inform Windows, DOS, OS/2, even LINUX programmers of these advances. The accompanying diskette provides client driver templates, configuration files and utilities, and source code for all programs is discussed.
