Publisher's Synopsis
An ex pro huntress and her redneck friend survive and thrive after an apocalypse destroys America. Caused by a faulty vaccine? Ruby, an American English Coonhound, sometimes called a red tick is the star and narrator. Though her thoughts probably come from her owner but our relationship and how I figure she sees me and how we would survive a zombie apocalypse is the start of this book. I'm not even an anti-vaxxer, and had this planned for a long time, just thought a bad vax was a good way to start a book. So chill out, was originally going to be a flu jab....
Satire, humor, redneck skullduggery, revenge and just having fun surviving after the world has ended.
I don't believe the sole reviewer at the time of this re-publish had even read it. Probably just enough to make her mad. I'm conservative and have a very sarcastic sense of humor, so if you're closed minded, too liberal or just have your head too far up your _____, this book isn't for you.
Zombie like LIBs, revenge and conservative redneck commentary throughout.
The main characters are based upon the author and his dog.
The subtitle is the result of a late night accident while publishing to Kindle and they won't let the author fix it. But whatever. Part II of the book is about to be released as an anthology and will include part I inside.
If I could respond to Amazon reviews I would, but for my own safety supposedly they have stifled my first amendment rights. I can not respond to my accuser. Does the book suck? Maybe, but who posts a 2 star review and calls for a book burning? If you want to burn it shouldn't it be a 1 star?
If you enjoy it, great. While this wasn't true during 2021, I no longer sign any book for anyone that hasn't posted an Amazon review. I'm not hard to find, just google me and swing into my campground. If its to burn the book we won't be friends, but I'll do it. Otherwise come share a beer by my fire. I only recommend May thru October, place is horribly cold the rest of the year.
Funny point though for my super fan: Kindle Direct publishing started out to get rid of traditional publishers. In other words, self publishing was its main point. So using self published as an insult on kindle is a facepalm.
