The Oxford International Lower Secondary English Workbooks support and consolidate learning from the Student Books. The Workbooks contain a wide range of activities to practice key grammar points, to consolidate vocabulary and to develop writing skills across a range of genres. Students with English as an Additional Language are well supported with clear instructions, structured grammar practice, suggested vocabulary and learning tips. Low-threshold, high-ceiling writing tasks allow for differentiation and give students the opportunity to get creative. Extension tasks ensure that high attainers are being stretched. Each Workbook contains a list of cross-curricular words and their definitions. These words are used across all academic subjects and are crucial to a student's academic success.
