Horses, ' especially about Arab horses, which have, I think, of late been very unfairly underrated, but of whose value, and as sires, I have a very high opinion still. A really good specimen of the Arab horse is very seldom to be seen in England. The best one of its kind I have lately seen is a light iron-grey with dark points, ridden by a lady in the Park but he is merely a very nice lady's-riding horse. The two brought over from India, and kindly exhibited at the Islington Horse Show, by the Prince of Wales, were certainly high-caste Arabs, but they were by no means good specimens of the breed. They were very pretty, had the true Arab head, and all that, but were far too.
