This volume consists of two sections.
Part I discuses theory and form of the natal chart, relating to the psychological basis in analysis in modern practice. With historical references to the beginnings of mankind's search for meaning that led to the recognition of the universal unconscious, contributed in part to the psychological studies of Carl G. Jung and expanded in the work of astrological theories of Dane Rudhyar, and those who followed. The basic outlines of the chart wheel, the importance of the primary significators as they help to identify the persona and the archetype of the native, as the individual is regarded in the astrological framework.
Part II discusses the application of astrology with demonstrations of actual chart analysis. A system of sign attributes and key words is explained with graphic charts for detailed descriptions of the signs, the planets and the Houses and their inter-relationship in a comprehensive chart analysis. The dominant and inferior functions that are found in a chart, the final dispositors and much more are clearly explained.
This is the first of a planned three volume series intended to fulfill the author's obligation to transmit knowledge gained through years of study.
