Publisher's Synopsis
Nina Court, recently widowed, returns to her home town. She is welcomed by a circle of friends, five married couples, comfortable with themselves and each other. Nina's arrival amongst them provides a catalyst, and as the year passes the lives of the group are shattered and remade.
