Orphaned Warrior Growing Up in a George Muller Orphanage During the 1950S & 1960S

A young mother escapes a violent and abusive marriage only to find herself facing poverty and a judgemental world. With little help from the state, sporadic child maintenance payments and employers unsympathetic to a mother's needs, the children's future looks bleak. In desperation she sends her two little girls far away from the north of England to be cared for in one of Bristol's George Muller orphanages.
