This CD-ROM provides an interactive key for identifying Australian Oribatid mites to family, genus or species levels. The database contains details of 80 families, 160 genera and 380 species. Nearly all species are illustrated, as are most of the 280 characters and character states used. The key and glossary are designed to be used in conjunction with ""Oribatid Mites: A Catalogue of Australian Genera and Species"" (0-643-06371-4). The glossary matches terms with images and allows extensive cross-referencing to other terms, images and citations in the literature. System requirements: Windows 95 or better.
