To the Founders of this University we owe a debt of grati tude which, year after year, we ought cheerfully to acknowledge, to the end that our hearts may not only be more and more fully impressed with a reverential regard for their memory, but also that we may the more vividly feel our responsibility to promote, by all the means in our power, the good work which they began.
