Je n'ai d'ailleurs pas réédité Les Derenboarg, qui avaient paru en Amérique tronqués et écourtés, ni prolongé la bibliographie de mes livres, brochures et articles jusqu'au commencement de 1905 pour mes confrères d'aujourd'hui seulement, mais je me suis préoccupé surtout de faciliter la tâche à mon successeur, que] qu'il soit, un ami, un indifférent ou un inconnu, en tout état de cause condamné.
