Publisher's Synopsis
Picking up after the events of Operation: Breakdown, all seems well for Samantha Barrett's family. Her biggest worry is her teenaged son growing up and dating. School dances, dance competitions and taking care of her of her young daughter is filling Sam's time. Her personal mission is to try and help Katrina and John heal their relationship.
When an unexpected invitation from Sam's past arrives, it leads to secrets being uncovered and hidden truths. They were still in the air not far from Reagan National when Katrina looked at Sam. She was sweating and having trouble breathing."Hey, are you okay?" Katrina asked. "Sam? Do you feel okay?" Katrina asked her again. She looked into her eyes and saw that her pupils were constricted.
"Can't...breathe..." Sam said just before she threw up and collapsed. When Katrina began to ask John for help she saw him get sick too. "John? What's wrong?"
They both were falling in and out of consciousness and having trouble breathing.
"Frank! Help, we have a medical emergency!" Katrina yelled.
"We're close to the airport, ma'am. I'll let them know to have an ambulance standing by." What's next for Sam and her family?
