The Onion Custard Short Story Anthology 2015 is our first collection of fiction. It contains stories by fourteen winners of our 1,000-word short story competition. The rule was simple - write a story suitable for young adult/adult readers. Each author has fought off fierce competition to claim their spot in this book. Ranging from hilarious and uplifting, to dark and profound, this collection offers the reader a variety of stories to enjoy, or not. The judges were often split on whether they liked, or even understood, some of the tales, and what has emerged is a collection that will delight, confuse and provoke. The authors represent voices from around the globe; the Canary Islands, England, India, Ireland, Wales and Zimbabwe. Each provides a different perspective, setting, and style of writing.
