Publisher's Synopsis

I was born Just before the Second World War started. It wasn't my fault, and I do not remember much about it, except that at the end of the war, my father allowed me out of the shelter to observe a dog fight in the sky. I was born With a voice to sing. I have never, ever appreciated how wonderful a gift this was, until it was taken away from me by my Parkinsons. I now can't sing but I want to. I remember being in a church choir at 5, when my mother was asked if her "little boy would sing a solo" and so, commenced my career called "LIFE". Infants school, junior school, from where I won a scholarship to Winchester College Choir School for three years. That voice again! Churchers College, Petersfield. Apprenticed to Trollope and Colls Ltd's Portsmouth subsidiary. Married at twenty - second child at twenty one, Fourth at twentyfive. It had to stop. I then got on with my business life to the detriment of the family. Quantity Surveying and Contract's manager for various local firms. Push on with life up to retirement in 2004. Then, in 2005 I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, this came as a complete surprise. I am learning to live with it, because it is not going to go away. Every day is different, so there is no time to lose. Book two calls
