Publisher's Synopsis
Bobby is an aborigine who has a real talent for picking winners. However, he isn't able to enjoy the rewards as he has been dead for a century or two, and all that is left of him is his head in a jar. Brendan Delaney (Robbie Coltrane) is a campus-janitor and semi-reformed gambling addict who's already burnt a hole through the college fund in his quest to send his daughter to medical college. A big win at the Grand National should secure a fortune, but Brendan must protect Bobby from an Australian civil servant who wants to repatriate him, and from a gang of gangsters who want to get in on the action.
