In this continuing story of Morgan and Jessie, Gerald Grant an eminent DNA scientist has discovered a DNA modification that will revolutionize education. Morgan is stressing out over her upcoming bar exam. Morgan meets Charlize Tremane, and forms a quick bond in the stress of the exam. Charlize's grandfather is the notorious crime boss Carlo Genovese. Morgan saves a woman from being raped and the ensuing relationship yields one more murder to be solved; a murder that puts Morgan in direct contact with her new friend's crime boss grandfather, and is an eye opener for her first major case as a newly sanctioned lawyer.
