All's fair in love and war. But when love turns into open warfare on the airship Dawnhawk, Lina Stone and the rest of the crew are forced to take action to save themselves. Leaving Fengel and Natasha to work out their differences on a deserted isle, they embark on a heist that promises outrageous fortune. Yet without the wily determination of their captains, Lina and the others find themselves in more trouble than they could have imagined. Meanwhile, it turns out that the deserted island is anything but deserted, forcing the two outcast captains to contend with rival military factions, ancient pre-human technologies, and worst of all: each other.
