Sir: In pursuance of instructions by the board of directors of this society at its meeting, June 9ud, 1905, I am pleased to submit herewith review of the inception, progress and accessions to this society. I have omitted fixed properties, financial affairs and numberless small items of the collections such as souvenirs, pamphlets not bearing directly upon the history of Oklahoma, and sample copies of magazines from various states. Changes in the management of publications of the lerritories are eso frequent that errors as to management of some at this date are probable.
