Maimonides' timeless classic "Guide to the Perplexed" is, unfortunately, a closed book to the layman. Without a guide and teacher, most readers will be no more enlightened than they were prior to reading the book. This book, "Ohr HaMoreh," attempts to present Maimonides' teachings in a way that the reader can more easily grasp Maimonides' view of the G-d's cosmic plan that underlies the events in the Garden of Eden, the Revelation at Mount Sinai, the Code of Jewish Law, the esoteric teachings of Kabbalah, and the cause and purpose of man's daily struggle and his role in human destiny.
